EVEN THE BEST DRIVERS GET TESTED ANNUALLY – Volunteers who drive fire-fighting apparatus in the Lower Frederick, Perkiomen, Collegeville (all below), and Trappe fire companies were out with their vehicles last Sunday morning (Nov. 13, 2016) on a secluded stretch of highway in Bridgeport PA (above) to complete emergency vehicle driver training as part of a course offered by Montgomery County. The hands-on portion, which involved driving rigs both large and small through a maze-like obstacle course of traffic cones, was preceded by an earlier classroom session of 8 hours of instruction and study.
