RESPONDERS TURN OUT – Fire company volunteers from Perkiomen, Skippack, Collegeville, and Trappe assisted on scene Sunday (Nov. 27, 2016), and the Schwenksville Fire Company provided stand-by support, as Montgomery County first responders battled a working fire at about 6:30 p.m. on Second Avenue between Springertown and Hafner roads in Royersford. In addition to the Royersford Fire Department and the local help, assistance also arrived from fire companies in Linfield, Black Rock, Kimberton, Phoenixville, Spring City, Pottstown, Sanatoga, and Ridge; and from Friendship Ambulance in Royersford.
