SCHWENKSVILLE PA – Greenfield Senior Living Inc., the Virginia-based health care provider for older adults that operates a facility at 300 Perkiomen Ave., has expanded its partnership with a real estate investment company in its purchase of Spring Meadows of Lansdale, a personal and memory care community that will be renamed “Greenfield Senior Living of Lansdale.”
Care Investment Trust LLC, which focuses exclusively on seniors’ housing, owns 30 senior communities across the county, including six in Pennsylvania. Of those, Greenfield manages or operates 13. Its relationship with Care Investment began in 2011, according to a Jan. 9 (2017; Monday) press release.
The newly renovated Lansdale site consists of 64 personal care units, 56 memory care units, and 150 licensed beds. Greenfield said it intends to grow its population, and change the senior living experience for current and future residents through programs and services. The location includes a 7,500-square-foot “Town Square,” where residents and families can gather and participate in activities.
Greenfield currently cares for more than 1,300 residents at a total of 20 communities in six states, and employs about 1,200 people.
