PENNSBURG PA – Overnight lane restrictions controlled by flagging are scheduled Monday through Friday (May 15-19, 2017) between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Route 663 between Hill Road and Route 29 across New Hanover and Upper Hanover townships and Pennsburg Borough, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced. Its contractor will be busy there with milling and paving work.
The work schedule of contractor H & K Group Inc. of Schwenksville depends on the weather, it added. It will mill the existing roadway surface and repave the state highways with new asphalt, sealing the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone. Slowdowns will occur, PennDOT warned.
