NORRISTOWN PA – A Lower Salford woman has been sent to jail by a Montgomery County Court judge after she admitted to embezzling more than $35,000 from two non-profit organizations, and he also banned her from any further work with non-profit groups, according to a story Monday (May 15, 2017) in The (Pottstown PA) Mercury newspaper.
“Heather Hudson Kuch, 43, of the 300 block of Indian Crest Way, was sentenced to five to 23 months in the county jail, to be followed by five years’ probation,” The Mercury’s Carl Hessler Jr. wrote. She was charged “with stealing $29,700 from the Vernfield Elementary Home and School Association, and $6,395 from Harleysville Cub Scout Pack 137, between 2013 and 2015,” Hessler added.
Judge Steven T. O’Neill also ordered Kuch to pay full restitution in connection with the matter. That was completed earlier, according to the story.
