NORRISTOWN PA – A Collegeville resident, and two from Lansdale, were among 12 individuals arrested Wednesday (May 24, 2017) by Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies in overnight raids to pick up what Sheriff Sean P. Kilkenny described as “deadbeat parents” who failed to make child support payments ordered by the courts.
Arrested locally in the sweep, the sheriff announced, were:
- Robert Camp, 190 Gravel Pike, Collegeville, who Kilkenny said owes $8,668.41 in unmade payments for three children;
- Byron Reid of 35 Windsor Ct., Lansdale, $12,457.08 for one child; and
- Jaclyn Rombola, 525 N. Chestnut St., Lansdale, $9,382.09 for two children.
They joined eight other men and one other woman in collectively owing $95,580.11 in child support arrearages for 23 children.
Three teams of deputies and K9s covered areas from Pottstown to Philadelphia during the raids. There were no incidences, with the exception of a few foot pursuits, Kilkenny said. “We covered a lot of territory and achieved great results in a little over five hours. I’m proud of our teams,” he added.
