PennDOT Works Overnights In Valley Next Week

PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP PA – Pipe replacements being made on behalf of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in portions of Perkiomen, Limerick and Lower Frederick townships, and the borough of Trappe, will result in night-time travel restrictions Tuesday (June 27, 2017) on Route 113 and Thursday (June 29) on Game Farm Road. PennDOT characterized the work as “maintenance operations.”

They are scheduled to occur:

  • Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Route 113 between Route 29 and Ridge Pike across Perkiomen and Trappe. Drivers will be detoured on Route 29, Ridge Pike, and Main Street; and
  • Thursday, also from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Game Farm Road between Route 29 and Neiffer Road across Limerick and Lower Frederick. Drivers will be detoured over Route 73 and Neiffer Road.

Travelers are urged to use caution and allow extra time when moving though work areas. All scheduled activities depend on the weather.
