Zoning Hearing Set For John Deere FranchiseLOWER FREDERICK PA – Owners of commercial property at 1303 N. Gravel Pike are scheduled to seek relief Monday (July 24, 2017) at 7 p.m., in an appeal to the Lower Frederick Township Zoning Hearing Board, on the use of two buildings there as parts and equipment warehouses.

The township zoning officer earlier determined the buildings’ proposed use by CLDL Properties LLC as a repair facility for John Deere Lawn & Garden Equipment franchise should not be permitted, according to a legal advertisement published July 17 (Monday) in The Mercury newspaper on behalf of the board. The owner is asking for either a reversal of that ruling, or a variance to allow the use. The property is located within the township’s Village Mixed Use Zoning District.

The hearing will be held in the township municipal building, 53 Spring Mount Rd., Schwenksville PA. It is free to attend and open to the public. Any person or party interested in commenting “will be given full opportunity to be heard,” the advertisement said.

Attorney Joseph Kuhls is the hearing board solicitor.
