LOWER SALFORD PA – A Brooklyn woman charged by Lower Salford police with multiple counts of identity theft and related offenses is being detained in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility while awaiting a Sept. 13 scheduled formal arraignment in her case, according to an article published Tuesday (July 25, 2017) by The Reporter newspaper.
The story by The Reporter’s Michael Goldberg stated Lisa M. Rappa, 49, “faces trial on 35 felony criminal counts, including multiple counts of identity theft, theft and forgery. Prosecutors withdrew seven additional counts of third-degree felony receiving stolen property. Rappa is accused of “bilking a Lower Salford resident out of more than $20,000,” the story indicated.
