NORRISTOWN PA – A Harleysville man whom police claim on Tuesday (July 25, 2017) robbed a Citizens Bank branch office at 101 W. Main St., Norristown, was apprehended only a day later, according to The Times Herald newspaper.
Times Herald reporter Oscar Gamble wrote that Keynan Marc Robinson, 32, whose Harleysville home address was not supplied, told a bank teller “he had a gun” and made off with $479. Court documents indicate that tipsters, social media readers, and facial recognition technology led to his arrest Wednesday (July 26).
“Robinson faces charges of bank robbery, robbery with the threat of serious bodily injury, carrying a firearm without a license, receiving stolen property, simple assault and other offenses. He was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $75,000 bail,” Gamble reported.
