Harleysville Garden Created For Wettest Weather

STARTING THEIR WEEKEND IN THE DIRT – Volunteers from Oehlert Brothers Inc. in Royersford (featured in the video above) and from Wells Fargo Bank (photos at top and below) started their weekend (Sept 22-24, 2017) by helping the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy install a rain garden in Robert Clemens Bucher Park, 411 School Ln., Harleysville. As with many conservancy projects, the effort focused on using native plants to help conserve water and increase drainage. On its Instagram page, the Schwenksville-based conservancy offered “a huge thank you to our hard working volunteers” for two days of often hot and tiring labor.
