HARLEYSVILLE PA – Taylor “Tess” Strayer of Harleysville (at right) has been hired as a staff environmental scientist in the environmental department of Barry Isett & Associates Inc., a 40-year-old privately-held engineering firm with offices in Phoenixville and five other locations statewide.
While pursuing her bachelor’s in environmental science at the University of Delaware, Strayer served as an undergraduate research assistant and gained experience in collecting field data and processing samples. During the previous year, she interned with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, where she worked within the Wetlands Division.
Additionally, Strayer worked with Delaware Fish and Wildlife as a mosquito control biological aide, surveying mosquito breeding surveillance and abatement activities.
Isett provides municipal engineering, code services; civil, structural, forensic, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering; landscape design, construction inspection, survey services, environmental services, and construction services.
