Collegeville Area Potholes Filled Next Week

Collegeville Area Potholes Filled Next WeekCOLLEGEVILLE PA – Two local thoroughfares are among the more than 70 state-owned highways that will be worked on next week (Feb. 5-10, 2018) by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation maintenance and contractor crews as they repair deteriorated pavement across the five-county Philadelphia region. Slated for pothole fixes are:

  • U.S. Route 422 in Lower Providence and Upper Providence townships; and
  • Route 29 in Collegeville Borough.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on the highways to patch areas where the surface is crumbling, PennDOT said. Drivers are advised to be alert of moving operations, and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities depend on the weather.

PennDOT also reminds drivers they can be part of future fixes by reporting potholes and other concerns on state roads. Call toll-free, 800-FIX-ROAD, to alert the state of locations with pothole problems.
